Your choice… To dine in or takeaway?
Did you know you can enjoy our fine dining dishes at the same price whether you eat in or order a takeaway? Not having to cook is always a treat, but have you really considered the differences between fine dining and a takeaway at home, especially if the cost for your favourite Indian cuisine is the same either way?
Ordering a takeaway to be delivered to home is a great way to enjoy the food from your favourite Indian restaurant. Zari restaurant in Crawley works with Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats to help their customers do just that. But, apart from having to do your own washing up afterwards… could you be missing the full service, fine dining experience and the delights of eating out in a richly relaxed atmosphere?
Eating Out Has Never Been This Convenient
Many assume that to eat out in a restaurant is more expensive, but Zari Indian restaurant charges the same price for dishes to eat in, or for an Indian takeaway delivery.
- Orders can be phoned in or placed direct from our website
- A collect-in-person order secures a 15% discount for collecting your meal yourself.
- An additional delivery charge is only added if the order is less than £40.
So, if the cost for the food is the same, why not book a table and enjoy the superb culinary experience of fine dining, and what are the pros and cons for both?
A passion for the best Indian food in Crawley, beautifully presented
Being wowed by your meal as it is presented at the table, beautifully plated, served in just perfect bowls and on special plates, is an instant delight that always brings a smile.
Contrast this to scooping your meal out of a heat-retentive travel container onto a plate that may not have been warmed, and there is just no comparison. And besides, there is no getting around that for the best Indian food, some flavours and textures are at their prime when served fresh, straight from kitchen to table. It is hard to preserve the crispness of a samosa when it has gently steamed in a sealed takeaway container, and Crawley’s best Indian restaurant is not able to serve its renowned Lucknawi dishes with the crisp pastry top in a delivery order.
Zari Restaurant’s freshly prepared curries are always at their very best when piping hot. Traveling a distance, even a short distance, in a thermal bag can reduce the temperature a little.
Fine Dining Experience at Zari Restaurant
Elegant dining and superb service are just as important at Zari restaurant in Crawley as the authentic tastes of the award-winning Indian cuisine. From the stylish restaurant, not only can you savour
the tempting aromas of the best curries in Crawley, but you can also watch the authentic Indian dishes being prepared with passion, care, and attention to detail.
With friendly, attentive staff, perfectly paired drinks, and personalised service at each table, part of the experience is being able to ask for a dish to be explained or to make the chef aware of any dietary needs or preferences. The extensive Zari restaurant menu covers both fine dining and the takeaway service. However, being able to ask questions and understand a little more about the classic curries or to explore the diversity and flavours of authentic regional Indian cuisine as you pause to peruse and find your perfect choice enhances the wonderfully unique fine dining experience. Our seasonal and chef specials are only available for our in-house diners, along with our chilled homemade desserts.

FAQs
Q. Why is Zari one of the best restaurants in Crawley to dine out in?
We are delighted to say that it is our guests who say we are the best, and have the best Indian cuisine in Crawley, as demonstrated with our wonderfully high review ratings.
Zari restaurant in Crawley prides itself on the attention to detail in all aspects of their fine dining experience. From a relaxing lounge to enjoy a drink in before being seated at your table to the friendly, knowledgeable staff and award-winning, authentic Indian cuisine, all our guests experience the very best from start to finish.
Q. Can our take-away be delivered piping hot?
Zari Indian restaurant do not allow any takeaway food to be collected by a carrier who does not have a thermal heat bag! We do everything we can to ensure that your meal is delivered as hot as it can be.
However, some heat will be lost, as expected, on even a short journey. Our advice is to pre-heat the oven to 165C degrees, 329F, and place your meal in it for 15- 20 minutes on arrival. Cover with foil to stop it from drying out as you bring it back up to piping hot. Please remember to remove the lids of containers with pastry dishes, as this will help to crisp them up again.
Q. How many people can your private dining room seat?
Our private dining room seats 45 comfortably, with 65 as a very top number. In addition, we are also able to accommodate up to 30 people alfresco style. Our private dining space can be booked for groups of 15 people or more.
